• National AVID Demonstration Site: The AVID College Readiness program not only supports core content classes but also develops transferable skills for students, offering tutoring sessions to enhance their learning and providing a supportive structure for college and career readiness.

• Variety of extracurricular activities: Connolly offers ample opportunities for students to get involved beyond the school day including competitive sports and clubs. The opportunities help students explore and develop their many talents.
• Home of Tempe's ASPIRE Academy at Connolly: This self-contained gifted program serves students from sixth through eighth grade and provides an educational pathway to gifted high school options in the Tempe Union High School District.
