Diablos AwardsCongratulations to the 2018 Tempe Diablos Excellence in Education finalists and nominees listed below! Educators from around the District, and from Kyrene School District and Tempe Union High School District, will be honored at the Excellence in Education Awards Banquet on May 14, 2018 at the Tempe Center for the Arts.

Each finalist will be invited to a dinner reception followed by the award ceremony, which is open to the public at Tempe Center for the Arts on May 14 at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend the ceremony to honor these amazing finalists. About the Tempe Diablos Charities, Inc. 

The Tempe Diablos is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, civic organization which began its service in 1968 with the mission to enhance and promote the community of Tempe, Arizona. Originally formed to bring spring training baseball to Tempe, the group has developed into a nationally recognized community service organization.  Members of the Diablos volunteer their time and energy to the youth of Tempe by promoting, organizing and supporting community-based programs and education. In 2013, the Tempe Diablos donated approximately $500,000 to Tempe-area charities as well as funding student scholarships, teachers’ awards and underwriting need-based services.
